Thirty days, no tricks.
How long do I have?
30 days from the day the bed arrives. Tell us within those 30 days even if you want to send it back a little later. After 30 days the sale is final.
What condition does it need to be in?
Original condition: clean, no rips, no stains, no chew marks beyond normal use. If the bed has been used, give it a cold wash first (30 degrees, no softener). It is machine washable and tumble dry low, so this is less of a chore than it sounds.
You do not have to keep the original box, but packing is easier if you did.
Who pays the return postage?
For orders inside Spain or inside Canada, we do; we send you a prepaid label. For international orders we refund the bed price and you cover the return postage. If outbound shipping was charged on your original order, that part is not refunded.
How do I start a return?
Email hello@hairyhousemates.com with your order number and a photo of the bed. We send a prepaid label (Spain and Canada) or instructions (everywhere else). Pack the bed, drop it at the carrier point, and we confirm receipt within 3 working days. The refund lands on your card within 5 working days of receipt.
Can I swap for a different size or colour?
Yes, just say so. We ship the new one as soon as the original is on its way back to us. No need to wait for a refund and reorder.
It arrived damaged. Now what?
Send a photo within 7 days and we will replace it, no return needed. If there is a manufacturing defect, same answer. We can collect the damaged one if you would rather it gone.
What if my dog refuses to sleep on it?
Give it a fair go first: a couple of weeks, the bed in a quiet spot, your old blanket on top so it smells familiar. If they are still claiming the sofa after that, get in touch and we will work something out.
Anything that cannot come back?
Items in a final sale category are final. Replacement covers and inserts sold separately can be returned only if unopened.

Email us
Send your order number and a photo of the bed to hello@hairyhousemates.com.

Step 2
Get your label
We send a prepaid label for Spain and Canada, or simple instructions for everywhere else.

Step 3
Pack the bed
Original box if you kept it, any sturdy box if you did not. Wash the bed first if it has been used.

Step 4
Drop it off
Leave the parcel at the carrier point. We confirm receipt within 3 working days.

Step 5
Refund
The money is back on your card within 5 working days of receipt.
