Two warehouses. Canada serves Canada and the US; Spain serves Spain and the rest of the EU. Your order ships from whichever is closer, which keeps the journey short and the paperwork boring.

The beds are designed in Canada and held regionally in both warehouses. So the delivery to you is regional, not international.

Counting working days, not weekends:

• Spain mainland: 2 to 4 days
• Balearics: 3 to 5 days
• Rest of the EU: 4 to 7 days
• Canada: 2 to 5 days
• US (from the Canadian warehouse): 5 to 8 days

We process orders within 1 working day of payment. Order before 14:00 on a working day and the bed leaves the warehouse the next morning.

Free inside Spain on orders over 100 euros. Below that, the carrier rate is calculated at checkout. Elsewhere in the EU it starts from 9 euros, by weight and destination. To the US from the Canadian warehouse, from 12 dollars. For Canada, rates are shown at checkout.

Every order ships with a tracking number. You get an email when the bed leaves the warehouse and another when it is out for delivery.

Recycled cardboard, with no plastic wrap around the bed. The cover is folded and the foam insert is vacuum-packed inside, so the box is smaller than you might expect.

Inside the EU: none. From Canada into the US, duties are normally not charged because the beds fall under the de minimis threshold, but if any apply they are the customer's responsibility. For other destinations, local duties and import VAT are down to you.

PO boxes (the box is too big) and APO or BFPO addresses. Some Spanish islands carry a surcharge or a short delay; if yours does, checkout will warn you before you pay.

If the carrier is running behind, we will let you know. If your order is more than 7 working days past the top of the estimate, email hello@hairyhousemates.com and we will chase the carrier or send a replacement.
