Find their size

How to measure

  1. Length. While they stand (good luck), measure nose to base of tail, then add 15 cm for sprawl.
  2. Compare. Check that number against the bed lengths below. Between sizes? Size up. Corduroy loves a sprawl.

The three sizes

Size Bed Housemate For example
S 60 x 50 cm Up to 10 kg, and cats Whippets, small terriers, French bulldogs
M 80 x 65 cm 10 to 25 kg Cocker spaniels, beagles, smaller labradors
L 100 x 80 cm 25 kg and up Labradors, golden retrievers, larger breeds

Tested on our pack

The design is proven by our five housemates. Yours is made fresh and ships new.

We made this bed because we wanted one our own dogs would actually use. Corduroy because it feels like the jumper you reach for when the house gets cold. The colours because most pet beds look like they belong in a vet's waiting room.

The whole bed is machine washable on a cold wash and tumble dries low, so it is ready again by bedtime. Polyester and cotton corduroy blend over high-density foam that does not flatten after a month of dramatic flops.

Designed in Canada. The design is tested first by our own five housemates: Toby, George, Wonton, Fish and Jack. Yours is then made to order and ships brand new. We plan to support rescues and adoptions as the brand grows.

Tested by years, not minutes

Care for the long haul

A pet bed is only as good as its second year. Here is how we keep ours looking proud after a thousand naps.

  1. Machine wash the cover cold

The corduroy cover is machine washable. Wash cold on a gentle cycle, mild detergent, no bleach. Tumble dry on low and the ribs settle back into shape. The inner is spot-clean only.

  2. Tumble dry low

Tumble dry on low, or lay the cover flat away from radiators and direct sun. Either way the ribs hold their height and you are back in business by bedtime.

  3. A weekly brush keeps the ribs proud

Pass a soft horse-hair brush along the rib direction once a week. Shed hair lifts out, the pile re-stands, and the colour reads richer in photos for years on end.

  4. Out of direct sun, for fade-free decades

Corduroy holds colour beautifully, but no fabric loves four hours of August window-light a day. Rotate the bed weekly if the spot gets sun, or pick a half-shaded corner from the start.

  5. Spot-clean with cool water + mild soap

Mid-cycle mishap? Cool water, mild soap, light blot with a clean cloth, work from the outside of the spot toward the centre. Skip the harsh enzymes; they break down dye over time.

  6. Honest longevity

Toby’s first bed lasted four years before we retired it for the puppy. Wonton’s nest is on year three. Treat the cover well, brush weekly, keep it out of the sun, and you will not be back in this checkout for a long time. That is a feature.

Machine wash the whole bed cold, then tumble dry low or hang it on the line. Ready again by bedtime.

Measure nose to base of tail and add 15 cm, then check the size guide. Small suits cats and dogs up to 10 kg. If your dog sprawls, size up. Corduroy loves a sprawl.
